Frequently asked questions
01What is the passenger limit for an airport transfer?
Minivans such as the Mercedes Vito carry up to six passengers.
For larger groups we also have the Mercedes Sprinter minibus, which carries up to nine passengers.
02Is it possible to cancel the transfer?
Yes. You can cancel your booking online from your account or from the find your booking screen; the cancellation amount and the refund are shown before you confirm.
If you cannot cancel online, write to bookings@packintours.co.uk or send us a WhatsApp message.
03What if my flight is delayed?
We do not charge any extra if your flight is delayed. Our operations team tracks your flight online and sends your driver to the airport once your flight has landed.
If you already know before take-off that your flight will be delayed, send us a WhatsApp message with the details so we can plan ahead and inform your driver in time.
You have one hour to leave the airport. This waiting time is included in the transfer fare and starts when your flight actually lands. If you think you will need more time, please let us know.
04How does the transfer process work?
The driver or an airport attendant guides you to the transfer vehicle, and you are on your way. It is a door-to-door service: the driver loads and unloads your luggage, so you reach your destination safely and comfortably.
05What information do you need from us to make a booking?
We need the full name of each passenger, a contact mobile number and your flight details; the booking form asks for everything we need. Passenger names are used to meet you at the airport and for insurance documents. Packin Tours does not share personal information with third parties.
06How much luggage can I take on my transfer?
Each vehicle class has a maximum number of passengers and pieces of luggage. Our minivan, for example, carries up to six passengers and six suitcases. If six passengers also carry six pieces of hand luggage, the vehicle can get crowded, so for your comfort and safety we recommend the next larger class, the minibus, which takes up to nine suitcases.
Standard luggage is one suitcase per person, up to about 70 × 47 × 21 cm and 23 kg, in line with the IATA recommendation. Hand luggage travels inside the vehicle with you.
